The year began with UK-based Benefex and Sweden’s Benify officially joining forces to become Benifex - an important milestone in our shared journey toward creating the world’s leading global platform for benefits and compensation.
With the merger, we now support over 3,000 organizations in more than 100 countries, and our solutions are used by five million employees worldwide. Through this consolidation we can offer a truly global, intelligent benefits platform that delivers more personalized, engaging, and relevant employee experiences – no matter where you work in the world.
Thanks to our growing global team of more than 1,200 Benifex employees across 11 offices, we can now also provide round-the-clock support, year-round – a major step forward for both our customers and us.
Following the merger, we also welcomed a new CEO, Mathieu Stevenson, who brings more than 25 years of international experience in the tech industry. Mathieu most recently served as CEO of SafeSend until the company was acquired by Thomson Reuters. We have also welcomed a new CMO, Sarah Reynolds (previously at HiBob), and a new CPO, Blake Pinard (previously at Snagajob). All three are tremendously strong additions who will help power the next stage of our journey.

New pay transparency solution – from requirement to competitive advantage
This year, we launched our brand-new pay transparency module – a crucial step in helping employers not only meet the requirements of the EU’s upcoming directive but also utilize transparency as a tool for engagement and trust. With this solution, employers can work systematically with their compensation philosophy, visualize pay data clearly and effectively, and provide employees with insight into pay ranges, career paths, and salary development. It supports the entire journey – from candidate offers and onboarding to development and total rewards statements – helping organizations stay ahead in matters of equity, credibility, and transparency.
A high-intensity year of events and content
2025 has also been an exceptionally active year from a marketing and customer perspective. We’ve hosted webinars, events, and participated in several fairs. Our sales reps have been on the road across the Nordics, meeting customers at a wide range of external events – something we truly value. In June, we hosted HR Connect in Copenhagen, where we deepened our dialogue with Danish customers on benefits, total rewards, and pay transparency. Our biggest event was Framtidens HR, held in Sweden in May. Nearly 1,000 attendees gathered at the Filadelfia Convention Center in Stockholm, joined by an additional 800 participants via livestream. It was a full day of discussions on AI, the upcoming pay transparency directive, self-leadership, health, and engagement – and it received the highest participant ratings we have ever had.

Knowledge in focus – our reports and guides
During the year, we also published several major knowledge initiatives:
- Gross Salary Schemes
- Pay Transparency – from Future Topic to Business Requirement
- Propel Reward and Benefits
All were designed to help employers navigate a rapidly changing HR landscape with valuable data and concrete insights.
We’re growing – geographically as well
This year, we relocated to a new and larger office in Copenhagen and established our presence in the United States with a new office in Chicago – another step in our global expansion.
Towards 2026 – with energy and optimism
Soon, many of us will head off for a well-deserved Christmas break. As we enter 2026, we do so with renewed energy, greater passion than ever, and with a platform and offering of truly world-class quality. But before that, I, together with the entire Benifex Nordics team, want to say: a heartfelt thank you for your partnership throughout the year – none of this would have been possible without you. We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Warm regards,
Joel Heister, CEO Nordics, Benifex
